What should you cut?
Centre: one 3.5 in square. Logs, in order: 2 × 3.5, 2 × 5, 2 × 5, 2 × 6.5, 2 × 6.5, 2 × 8, 2 × 8, 2 × 9.5 in. Each listed size is one piece.
| Finished / unfinished | 9 in finished; 9.5 in unfinished |
|---|---|
| Seam allowance | 1/4 in included in cut sizes |
How do you assemble it?
Keep the centre upright. Add logs clockwise: right, bottom, left, top, twice. Use 1/4 in seams and press after each. A 2 in cut strip adds 1.5 in finished. Centre 3 in + four strip widths × 1.5 = 9 in finished.
