I absolutely love this machine,I've been able to get so much quilting done with it.I had no issues at all getting the tension adjusted just right and it sews beautifully in all modes and directions.I especially appreciate the feature that allows me to switch the controls from right-handed to left,being ambidextrous but primarily left-handed this was a very "handy" feature,pun intended!… read more I'm very limited on space so this machine on my Grace Sr-2 frame is perfect for my quilting room while still giving me plenty of space to really open up and create the designs that were difficult to quilt on a domestic machine! I purchased a Q'nique with the Q'nique frame in April, before I was using my 9" throat Juki table model on a Hinterberg frame. Then due to family emergencies and other summer activities I am just now getting back to the machine. Frustrated attempting to get the tension adjusted to a perfect stitch is a nightmare. I have 5 other machines, three vintage, and have never had this… read more problem. By reading other reviews I guess another 1,000 yards of thread then maybe it will finally stitch correctly, it is very touchy. The Grace company is fantastic though. I have had several lengthy conversations with them and they are extremely helpful. The videos are good also. I love the frame and the machine does move like a dream and has most of the features.

Good Machine

I've had the machine about 4 months. It is easy to operate, thread and I love the bobbin winder! One very frustrating thing I have experienced is the bobbin and thread tension are extremely hard to regulate and set. I have pulled out about as many stitches as I've sewn. Other reviews have stated the same thing. So I guess I'll keep with it a while longer. Fantastic!

I have had my Q'nique for a month now, and can't say enough good things about it! I could not be happier with this machine. I purchased the Grace queen frame also and they work beautifully together! I cannot believe how wonderful the machine stitches, and is so easy to use! Maintenance is minimal and easy too! I am just finishing my first quilt already...

This machine is sew affordable. It will fit any Grace frame, it has a stitch regulator, auto bobbin winder, extra large class m bobbin. Perfect for someone who has a 9" arm machine on a frame already.

Have had my Q'Nique for two weeks and love it. Sews great and has super features. The bobbin winder has a separate motor. It winds a bobbin in seconds. Adjustments are pretty much the same as other long arms. Got a great deal from Sewing machines Plus.I'm totally happy.

Everything I had hoped

I'm still learning but I think this will be a wonderful machine! It took quite a while to get it set up but once I digested all the "how to" information it works well. My only "problem" is the machine light is very bright and sometimes after working for a while I see spots for several minutes. We are working on better overall lights to help this.

I received my Q'nique 14+ about 2 weeks ago. Right out of the box i started using it. Tension was perfect. Sewed beautiful. A great upgrade from my Juki tl2010. I have the Q'nique on a Grace King Pro frame with the upgrade carriage. It took some adjusting on the frame to get the full 14+ inches. It works great and i have completed 4 quilts on it. 2 baby quilts 1 queen and 1 reg.… read more I am looking forward to many more quilts and learning to free motion a lot better.

Good for the price

I would give this machine 5 stars but it has two shortcomings. First, I about tossed it out of the window when I first got it because getting the thread tensions figured out wasted a lot of thread! Once you get the tension right it is easy to use. Secondly, my first mid arm quilting machine had a thread cutter that cut both the top and bobbin threads. It would be a nice feature… read more for this one to have and my next machine WILL have it. All of that being said, you get what you pay for and for the price this is a good machine. I have the SR2 frame and it's easy to use but I'm thinking of upgrading to the new frame to get my quilt tighter during the quilting process.

Great package

This machine is probably better than the rating I'm giving it but I had such a difficult time getting the tension right. Spent several hours and lots of thread, not to mention headaches and frustration, but I think I have it set. Very smooth and super easy to operate. You really can't beat the price. I have had mine for about 2 months and am quite pleased with it.

The good news, bad news

This machine is fun to use when it works right. When it doesn't, you want to scream. Setting the tensions and getting it to hold the tensions is a constant challenge. Sometimes they change in the middle of a project for no reason. The thread will break and you have to start adjusting things all over again. Problems with q'nique

i haven't had this machine a year and its been in the shop for a timing issue twice,and now it is skipping i paid to have it fixed and i don't even have it paid off not recommended was a bad investment. can't even sell them for what you pay for them

I received my Q'nique Long Arm Quilting Machine 15M on April 27, 2021. As of today May 3, 2021 I have not been able to use the machine due to a thread tension problem. So far I am not at all pleased with this purchase.

Received broken, no help from service

Service department is non-responsive.

Two buttons on the hand controls do not work, one being needle down, which renders the machine useless. Ran the button test and button 1 & 3 are broken.

The only way to contact service is thru "chat", who supposedly passed my concerns on to service, and after waiting a week, I have had no one contact me about getting an RMA so… read more I can get it fixed or send a new machine sent.

I realize "everyone is very busy" (working from home...) but how much time does it take to email me a return FedEx label?

I've had a Brother Nouvelle 1500s on a Gracie Queen wood frame for a few years. I have wanted a mid or long arm for so long but couldn't justify the expense. The discount and great bonus deal and an unexpected paycheck made it possible to purchase. Exciting purchase

This was very tedious to assemble. There are 4 different book to put it together. You actually end up undoing things you have already put together if you follow their steps. Not for the newbie! We have put together many items, furniture and machines, this was a doozie!
Once together there are no instructions on how to actually run it, that has been super frustrating. Please help!
