Love my King Quilter ll!

I got my new baby at Road to California but didn’t pay for set up. They were great helping me to get my 12 ft frame set up right! Corey did whatever it took to help me! Even when my mother in law put the bobbin in sideways and got it stuck in it! I love quilting with my King Quilter! Good machine, lots of features, great price.

I've been looking at longarms for a while now. Stitches are nice, moves well on the frame, easy to use, and the King Quilter II Elite comes with adjustable front handlebars, rear handlebars, and a laser light.

Did not receive everything I paid fir

I did not receive the laser light kit that I paid for. I received my order on Friday 2/7 and I called Jennifer on 2/10 to report the missing laser light kit. She said she would get it shipped ASAP, but as of today I have not received it or any confirmation that it has shipped

Easy ordering process, Quick shipping.

Worst purchase ever!

Had problems from the start with thread breaking. After 6 months and sending machine back for repair and replacement parts, it was shipped back in worse condition. Demanded a new machine or refund.

I have had trouble in my machine ever since I bought it when I call I cannot ever get hold of nobody.. I sent it back it came back it work for a day . I had to hire someone else to come and fix it he said he was surprised it was working at all. It's not the machine it's the frame it's always something.

Slight miscommunication in providing realistic expectations. Item was bought as an 'in stick ready to ship'. Subsequent communication all initiated by myself could have been avoided by an initial email advising delays mostly due to covid-19 impacts on factories, shipping and back order (as advised on 2nd contact). A real upgrade for me!

I purchased the King Quilter II Elite in late December as an upgrade from an older machine I had been using since starting longarm quilting 5 years ago. This machine is amazing! Love all the features and super simple to operate compared to my old machine. The frame is quite functional and easy to use.

Happy with this machine...

While I am happy with this, I am very disappointed that there aren’t more videos to help those of us who are new to longarming with our King Quilter. There is a lady who makes Youtubes with her King Quilter-she teaches all about it-setting up and loading. Thank you, Ma'am; otherwise I would be having a lot of trouble! Service Department Excellent Support

I have an older version of King Quilter (Tin Lizzie style) that was not working properly in stitch regulated mode. Scott from service called and was able to assist me over the telephone to resolve my problem. I readjusted the motor pulley and belt and everything is working like new again. The tech support and customer service has been the best.

The machine itself is nice and works perfectly. The frame is also nice, but ours came with the rails already assembled and the screw heads were stripped on some. We were also missing some misc screws to assemble the thread holder.

Have had a great experience with both SMP and the KQII Elite

I bought my machine 10 months ago and have high praise for the tech support at SMP. My machine has reached 2 million stitches and it's been a wonderful machine. The tension is perfect and the stitches are beautiful. I really like the adjustable front handles for doing freehand work but I mainly use the rear handles with pantographs. The laser light works great for those.
I… read more had to ship my machine back twice for issues that came up. SMP fixed the machine fast and shipped it right back. I'm very happy with the tech support. I recommend buying this machine, I know you'll be happy with it.

Well worth the money

I usually don't write reviews on products i buy, but I am making an exception here. I purchased the King Quilter Elite II and Quilting Frame a few months ago and I was really surprised at the quality of both. True, the frame came in 4 boxes and it was a LOT of parts, but the instructions were pretty good, including pictures. Still, it took me all day to put the frame together… read more with a lot of comparing the pictures with the parts I was working on. (Would have been done sooner, but refused my husbands help. Was afraid he might scratch my new toy!) Thankfully, the King Quilter machine was only in a couple of boxes and easy to put together. Once it was set up and I read the book, I put a piece of material in the frame with some batting and another solid color to use for the top, then started quilting. It was such a great experience, can't even begin to tell you how happy I was. My old frame was a wooden Grace frame and I had a 13" Bailey's Home Quilter on it. To say it was tempermental is being generous. I used to get anxious at the start of each session with it. By comparison, the King Quilter Elite II is a dream come true. No problems whatsoever from the very start. Now I can't wait to finish each top so I can quilt it. It has great stitch regulation so I was able to try quilting with rulers and I really enjoy it.
