Enjoying the ease of Quilting on large throat
Purchased at Quilt Show in Bloomington, MN. Was able to test it out before buying. Although, I have done lots of reviews on many of the sit down machines and this one was the best. Juki is a good quality brand. Juki's are used at our Base to repair parachutes!
The other plus is that if I so choose to get a rail system, this machine can be placed on one. I just don't have the…

The option of either setting the table to a sit down or stand up to quilt option was also a good choice. I like the turn handle where you can easily reach it without stretching for it. The lights are handy and bright for working on your tops. I have done several quilts on mine so far. I have had it almost 2 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
The only complaint I have is that I can not use the 1/4 inch straight rules with my quilting foot, even when it's as high as it will go. The one side where the quilting foot is slanted won't allow for the ruler to fit up to the foot. Every where else around the foot it works. You can use the Westalee quilting templates with it just fine.

The sewing is smooth and the fabric is so easy to move with the two table… read more leaves. I will never stuff a big quilt under and small machine throat again, this is luxury that is built to last. The customer service at the shop has been wonderful as well.

I have had my Juki 2200 assembled for 2 weeks now and every time I try to clean my sewing room, I find myself playing on this machine. It is awesome! I am still in the practice phase, but I love the way it sews and the lighting is awesome. I have only done scrap sandwiches, but I am learning with each session. The throat size is awesome and I don't think I will have any trouble… read more manipulating a large quilt. It is big, but it was easy for my son to assemble and he did it in just a couple of hours. The only negative I have is that it didn't come with a complete owners manual and I had to download it and print it. Even that seems a little skimpy.
