This is a wonderful machine. The extra inches of the throat plate make it very easy to feed a quilt through and machine quilt it. The machine has a wide selection of stitches and does a good job with them. When using this machine for garment sewing, it has done an excellent job. The stitches are uniform and the machine is very easy to adjust if needed. The owner's manual is a must… read more for reference. It covers all the information necessary to use the machine. This machine is wonderful to use.

I bought this machine in Mar 2020. It was great in the beginning, but it didn't last long. In Oct 2020 it started skipping stitches. I took it in for service at a local Juki dealer and it worked for 1 week. Now it is even worse than before and I have to take it back for service again.

Spend 3K on this machine if you're looking for a thread cutter that cuts the thread so close, it unthreads EVERY time, so you have to re-thread the needle after every cut. But don't plan on using the needle threader, it doesn't work. Also if you want a machine that is so finicky you can't use pre-wound bobbins or get a good stitch on normal settings, make the investment. This purchase… read more is a huge regret for me and taken the joy out of sewing. I'm sticking to Babylock from here on out and will only buy local. This machine and customer service has been a terrible experience.

I was excited...Waited a long time for it to be on stock... Because I have a Juki 2010Q which lives up to its potential. The Juki Kirei HZL-NX7 machine, with, (idt) when attaching a foot drags and does not allow for smooth sewing experience. The needle threader also does not always catch as well. This is my dream machine. It's sturdy, and interactive, with a lot of elbow room for free motion quilting. I have used it everyday for just over a month now, and look forward each day to sewing and quilting.

Juki let me down. Some electronic part went out and the machine could not operate correctly.....I could not get Juki to call me. The dealer I bought it from had closed. I took it to a dealer 1 1/2 hours away. After 6 weeks they couldn’t get the part from Juki....they graciously let me trade it in for a TL2200 mini. I can’t get this one to free motion!! A very well thought out machine, automating those things that a sewist does a million times per project. With one button push it raises your needle, cuts your thread and raises the presser foot. One tap on the extra pedal and it drops the presser foot. It makes it easy to keep both hands on your fabric to ensure nothing shifts and goes askew.

I am a beginner quilter and I started with a singer which was good one to start with but I knew as my knowledge grew I had to get a better machine and this one fits the bill.
