Doesn't work

I have tried this on 2 barely worn blades and ended up tossing the blades.
The electric sharpener has stupid proof instructions but didn't work for me.
NOTE: I won this item.

After sharpening the blades that I had I couldn't really tell that it done that good of a job.. But I had these blades for several years. They might have been to far gone to really do a good job on. Will try on newer blades when they start getting dull.

I think mine was defective

I have tried many blades and even it is dulling the blades I have put in. Reached out to SMP and they are calling manufacture. I will get another unit and pray it works. I will update this review when I receive my second unit. Sometimes these things just happen. I am sure the 2nd unit will work according to the reviews. I like some of the others have kept old blades, so I can't… read more wait to sharpen them. Thank you SMP for such great customer service.

I did not find this product easy to work with. My blade was sharper before I put it in the TrueSharp machine. I ran the blade twice and it was a little better after the second time but still would not cut through one layer of fabric.

Rotary blades can be very pricey so this will help to cut costs & extend blade life. Reasonably priced & SMP always has quick shipment.

I love my new sharpener. I had accumulated 20 45mm, 12 small ones and 5 of the largest blades. I love it. Most fantastic invention and improvement from first one. I referred my quilting friends to it. Probably taking it to a quilt guild meeting. Thank you

How did I quilt without this?
