I love my Brother SE1900! Looked around for a couple of months and wanted a combo embroidery and sewing. Was going to go with the se625 but I’m glad I changed my mind. Avoid

Purchased this machine about 2 years ago. From day one we had issues with it but were able to work through them. Out of no where about 11 months ago the machine has a foot pedal error on display whether it's connected or not. This machine in the 2 years we've owned it has only been used 6 times. Waste of money.

Glad I finally got the machine after its being backordered.

I haven't used the embroidery function yet but the sewing machine part works well. It's smooth and quiet. I've been finishing a quilt top so I haven't experimented with the stitches or other functions or I would have given 5 stars. I don't know yet if it will continue to function well when I do more with the machine but I would think it will.

The machine seems great so far. I like the USB drive and the LED display alot. However, I was disappointed it doesn't come with it's own software to convert files to the correct embroidery file type. It is a bit ridiculous that you have to pay for that. Also, it is not very compatible with Mac computers in terms of embroidery file converter software. Noises

I have run into a couple of issues but seem to be resolved. Sewing The bobbin thread jammed took things apart , it seems to still be making a noise when the slide that moveswhen I put the pressure foot up, and when I turn on and the needle mives

Overall great machine

Great machine. This is my second Se1900. The automatic needle threader didn’t work straight out of the box so I took away a star. It was a little disappointing considering the cost of the machine.

Great for beginners!

I've had this machine a month now and it was such a great buy. I have used it every night and have been making some lovely creations. I am completely self-taught -- the manual is very easy to read and understand. Any time I have had an issue (needle broke, bobbin on wrong side of fabric, etc.) the manual has told me exactly what I need. So far so good!

I've only used this machine a couple of times so far, but am loving it! I had previously used an Brother embroidery machine of someone else's, so was familiar going into this one. The sewing machine part was new to me however, and so far its really great!

Also, customer service from Sewing Machine Plus has been amazing, so that was a huge plus!

The touchscreen and other controls are very intuitive, it only takes a little while to figure out the navigation.

I've been busy embroidering caps, figured out a pretty easy way to hoop them without pinning or a special hoop.
