I bought this machine as a backup machine while my old Brother ULT 2002 was in the shop, but now I use the Sofia 2 ALL the time. Easy to learn, excellent stitch quality and it never jams up. I have a leotard business and sew a lot of spandex and this machine does an awesome job on the bindings - I go back and forth between my serger, cover stitcher and this one. It never disappoints.

I love my Sophia. It is great for traveling. If I had to say a downside I would say the emb. part is a little small. .However I love this machine.
