Everything is fine except for continual problems with the bobin. Have to take it completely apart to pull the thread out and reassemble constantly. Sew 3 stitches and the thread bunches up and jams.
Love Singer, but 6199 is their "black sheep of machines"

Kept getting C4 error code just like everyone else. Couldn't find any real help online. Finally found a sewing machine repair shop in Santa Clara, CA that was able to help! Runs better now than when I first purchased it.
BTW, shop is California Sewing & Repair($80 total cost).

Read the previous review. She gave it 5 stars even though the machine doesn't work properly. It is the worst machine I have ever used. The thread bunches and birds nests no matter the tension or material. I called Singer and their customer service was horrible. The rep was curt and rude and told me I needed to have my new machine serviced because there was a tension disc problem.… read more Unacceptable. Read other reviews on different sited and you will see many people complaining about this same bunching thread issue. Choose another brand and save yourself the headache.
