Before buying this piping foot I avoided sewing anything that called for piping. It was a real struggle to apply piping with just a zipper foot. I am very thankful that I now have one and it works great on my Janome MC6600P! Sewing Machines Plus was great! They let me know that it was on back order and offered to let me change my order.
