(Intended only for machines designed for Flat Shank needles). This is a special version of the 15x1 for stretch or elastic material...s and tightly woven knits. It has a slightly bulged eye and slightly reduced blade above the eye which reduces the contact between the material and the needle. This reduced needle heat up and prevents skipped stitches.
