Overall, I like the cabinet. However, packaging appears to be an issue. A lot of the corners had varying degrees of damage and missing veneer. Assembly instructions were good, with the exception of one piece which they had wrong. Lastly, the drawer pulls out with somewhat ease, but pushing it back into the cabinet is not possible without manipulation and a heavy push at the… read more bottom.

The cabinet is perfect for me! I wanted a great sewing space that would âdisappear â into the background when not in use. The design works great because it doesnât have to be fully extended to sew. I can make it big when needed or keep it compact if I donât need a lot of space. It took almost 4 viewings of âWhite Christmas â to put it together but… read more it was not difficult. Definitely need a drill driver for the screws.

Looks great. Assembly took a few hours but was well worth the effort.
I would suggest matching the written instructions more closely with the video. The video helped with clarifying many of the written steps.

This cabinet is a really good size when folded out and tucks away to a small size when not in use. If you get this, use the video instructions from the website putting it together, it'll make the construction a breeze.

Best decision I ever made. I’ve had mine going on ten years and it looks brand news. I use it almost every day. I could not be happier. Im purchasing another machine and will purchase a new insert by this company. This is the most versatile cabinet and This thing will outlast. me. Perfect!

BANG, ordered her the right table, it got here in record time, searched for a better online instructions, paper instructions not in box 1, they would have been good there. We had to adapt the top by cutting a hole in the top after receiving the Sew Steady. There was no space for the cord to plug in to the machine at table height. (Bablylock Destiny II). Also at 6'1" there is no room for my legs to comfortably operate the foot control. My knees hit the shelf when in normal sewing position. I'm still working on a solution to that issue.

Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the difficulty in getting the machine lift to stay down and unable to get someone to return my call for some technical help with that.

Due to COVID-19 we had a glitch in the ordering. Ordered Jan. 2, 2021, then SewingMachinesPlus had to order a second time on the 12. Arrived on Jan. 20 and 21 so the ship in 2-3 days was not happening! Hubby put my unit together. The top came broken so waiting on a new one. The side with drawers isnât pushing in properly but husband thinks he can get it to work. Took him only… read more about 3 hours to put together, he didnât watch the video so Iâm thinking all the kinks in the directions are worked out! Canât wait to get to start using it!

The extension cubby does not roll back into the cabinet. It lifts up in the front of the cabinet and wonât go all the way in unless you shove it in. If you do that, itâs nearly impossible to pull it back out again. I also think that for the price of this cabinet, the pice that goes around the sewing machine to make it flush with the cabinet should NOT be an extra cost.
