Bad Purchase Experience

When i first called to order the product a guy named Aaron was very rude and pushy for the sale. I asked to speak with his manager but that person was not in.
Next i talked to Nicholas who had me sold and he knew Exactly what he was talking about.
I did not get shipping. I couldn't see my self paying and extra $280 for shipping to my home when my machine needed to be at my… read more place of business but they don't do BUSINESS CREDIT ACCOUNTS. Like who sews for free.

I picked the machine up from a warehouse already assembled with table.

But when i got home the machine only stitches 2 or 3 stitches before it skips stiches then the needle taps something and bends.

Ive called them 3 times in the last 6 days and was told a service ticket was put in and a service guy ( they only have 1) will contact me when he gets to my ticket.
I only had the machine 6days and can't use it but when i asked them to do a return because who wants a machine that has to serviced, i was told i CAN NOT DO A RETURN UNTIL I TALK TO THE SERVICE GUY FIRST THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS GETTING THE MACHINE WORKING!!
TIME IS MONEY AND EVERY DAY THIS MACHINE SIT IM LOOSING MONEY!!

I used synchrony they full of it, when i ordered the DDL8700 they gave me 12 months to pay, when i ordered the DDL5550N they only gave me 6months

Assembly was a nightmare and needle positioner sucks.

It took me so long to assemble. I had to also spend hours with support to figure out the belt which was making a strange noise. I still think its not on right. But if you dont have a big car you cant bring it anywhere to get it fixed. Also, only in downtown LA do people fix these kinds of machines in my area. Which is rare to have that kinda resource. Also, the needle positioner SUCKS. It rattles my machine like crazy if I sew fast, and it makes me nauseous! If you get motion sickness easily dont get this. ITS NON-REFUNDABLE. They assembled mine to my machine before they shipped it, so it was not my doing. I took it off. I dont want to waste hours more on chat support emailing them pics. BUY A USED ONE!

Juki Industrial Machine

I recently purchased this Juki machine and table. I sew a lot of home-deco items-draperies, valances, and pillows. It runs smoothly, goes through mulptiple layers of fabric with little difficulty and is easy to thread. Very satisfied!

Well built. VERY heavy! Easy to get up and running. Manuals were missing so had to go online to try and find the install and operator manuals, otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

It could had been a better experience

The instructions to put the machine together needs to be majorly improve. It was extremely unhelpful and really confusing as to what needs to be done. Parts needs to be label better and maybe a video on how to set it up! All in all, the machine is great.

Go straight to YouTube for set up.

Great that the table was together, but the online instructions are incomplete. They don't attach some parts, they are just shown in pictures.
I followed a very clear cutsew YouTube video that walked me through the whole process.

Thread breaks mid stitch every time I attempt to sew through any amount of layers. I really don't understand how people can say this is good for heavy weight or even medium weight fabrics.

Great machine and value for your money!

Wife is very happy with her new machine! It's a workhorse of a sewing machine. Fairly easy to assemble with videos found online. Great quality from Japan! Would recommend this machine to anyone. And no issues with online ordering or the company. Top notch! Thanks!

DDL-5550N

Love this industrial machine. It came very quickly and sews leather like it is sewing through butter. I do miss some of the features of a home machine but the trade offs will be worth it

Excellent machine

Excellent machine, easy to adjust tension, reliable, easy to thread. Bobbin is a little frustrating, but easy to manage. I love sewing on this machine for it’s consistent perfect stitches and strong fast motor. Customer service from Sewing machine plus was a little a little weak since I mailordered the machine from out of state.

Using juki DDL 5550N for thread painting

I did quite a lot of research before purchasing the Juki DDL5550N for thread painting. Took out the feed dogs and it works great with open toed presser foot. My work is very dense and the motor is perfect turned down to a slower speed!

Reasonable price compare with quality

I bought this juki machine for al most 2 months. It work perfect and quiet. Actually, the assembly it not hard but it just a bit heavy for the table or machine. If you are only a woman, a difficult part is to move the table in to your home or apartment.
If you serious with sewing, you should get one.
