Fits my Janome Memory Craft 6500 - Helps make a straighter stitch, both top needle and bobbin side, than the open-toed feet. Also is very useful when sewing thinner fabrics - the smaller hole helps keep the fabric from getting sucked down under the needle plate. Caveat - you just have to remember to ONLY use the straight stitch setting - no zig zagging
