This is a wonderful machine. I had reluctantly traded in my Pfaff which I had loved for this machine. The Janome is wonderful to stitch in the ditch especially with the automatic lift foot feature. It is light years ahead of what I was sewing with for the past 10 years. It's a dream machine and the price was very good for all of the features of a much more costly machine. I've only had this machine for 2 weeks, but I have done several different projects with it already. I love the pivot function that is easily turned on/off with the press of a button (unlike another brand I recently tried where I had to go through the entire menu to turn this function off), because there are times when I do not want the presser foot to lift when I stop sewing. … read more The AcuFeed Flex foot is amazing and quiet compared to a walking foot, and now I want all the AcuFeed attachment feet! I love the pop-off needle plate - makes it super easy to keep the bobbin area and feed dogs clean. Very pleased with this Janome purchase!
