I LOVE this machine! it has thousands of hours of use the past 19 years! AMAZING! I had had all other brands and they are worthless compared to my Janome. In fact, a friend with a NEW fancy Singer borrowed my old Janome (still used daily) to sew a quilt... They loved it- said the feed dogs were very good....so much better than their NEW Singer! I said- DUH- I have been telling… read more you, it's not fancy but it works great!

Incredibly easy to use! It's definitely a no frills machine but at least it's not upsold by false claims like "stitch functions". The motor is not industrial strength but far more powerful than other brands in its price range. My only disappointment is that it doesn't have an adjustment for presser foot pressure. Over all, it's a great machine of high quality....
