I purchased it for a free-motion ruler work on a domestic machine class I was taking. It worked, but the pin that holds the top of the foot in place allows the foot to wobble when pushed up against a ruler, so the accuracy suffers. Bad design.

I have a janome 8200 special edition and I had been looking for this ruler foot. I found it here at a good price and it arrived very quickly. Life has gotten in the way and to date I have not had the chance to play with the feet.

It says it's for Janome 1600 and also for category N, it also works on Memory Craft 8200 . I have 8200 Special edition - fits & works great ! Also - wonderful store to buy from, fast shipping to Canada, thank you!
