A Savior

I am a novice quilter and decided that this foot seemed to be the secret to straight seams on quilts. It is. By using the guide, I was able to sew straight seams easily (without the concentration normally required when following the lines on the sewing plate) and the triangles ended up with points because of the accuracy of the seams!

Excellent tool for quilters!

I love this foot. Very well made. I took a sharpie and colored the top of the guide and the middle mark on the side of the foot for my own preference. (translate.. over 40 eyeballs). I would suggest that you sew a seam and measure, I had to kick my needle over one tick for MY machine and it is perfect. You can't tick over more than one or two because of the single hole in… read more the foot but make sure the guide is nicely bent inward and tick the needle over if needed. Every machine is different, so sew and measure. It's dead on a quarter and I wanted to tick over to a scant. This has increased my speed tremendously as an experienced quilter. A beginner friend of mine loves it as well. Can't go wrong. The service from this seller is excellent, delivery was very fast, packaged well.

I cannot use this foot because it doesn't fit my XR 3340 Brother machine. I stated the machine that I have when I ordered the foot. After several phone calls, emails with pictures, I still haven't received information as to what to do. Therefore, I am not a satisfied customer.

Happy quilter here

I've pieced quilts for years with lump of masking tape to mark my scant 1/4" and having to remove and replace tape to access bobbin - thus losing accuracy. No more! Love this foot.
