I bought my baby lock server about 10 yrs ago. I have had 2 other servers before this one, and I do have one other one from sears. This one tops them all. Have never had the first problem out of it. The most reliable serger. I have ever used. I worked in factories for 30 years, and I would rate the baby lock right up there with the big boys. I love this machine. I've had it for about 5 years now and it can just sit and sit and then when I need to use it it just takes off like a race horse. It is fabulous! I am so glad I got this machine - it wasn't cheap (for me, at least) and I am so glad I got it! Thank you Sewing Machines Plus for helping/urging me get it plus all the great classes!

I am seriously considering purchasing this machine but I am wondering about it's speed. I will be using it for making dance costumes which I need to make as quickly as possible. I LOVE the features of this machine, but am not sure I can rectify buying it if it is not very fast. THANKS in advance!

I have had this machine for about 3 years and it is wonderful, out of the box it has been easy to use. Since then I have gotten the serger workbook by babylock, which has made it even better. I love this serger. I received a DVD to show how to use it with different stitches and differentials. I love the auto threading. Lots of things you can do with this one.

the air threading doesn't last. I have to use canned air to help mine along. that was the case after about 6 months. Now everytime I have to do a complete change I get out the canned air and tweezers. The blade didn't last that long either. I had different brand for years, but was having trouble getting a good rolled hem. I make alot of dance costumes as well. Aside from that,… read more its a good machine. Its easy to go from rolled hem to regular narrow hem which I use often.
